Journey into the wilderness of Alaska where you’ll meet Larry, a burnt-out engineer who is risking his life to make it big on YouTube as a survivalist. But his relentless pursuit of fame quickly spirals into a desperate, unhinged quest for connection. It’s an incredibly playful story of isolation, masculine delusion, and modern loneliness; where you, the audience, get to play the wilderness. Featuring innovative live camera work and delightfully unpredictable audience games.

Directed by Joanna Simmons, Creative Producer Charles Day.

Mark Pleases You

A man with dark hair and a black jacket is sitting on a chair on a stage, passionately speaking or singing, with his hands gesturing. There is a projector on a small wooden table in front of him and a backpack on the floor. The background is dark.

Mark Pleases You is a high-energy, deeply personal, extremely silly exploration of people-pleasing. In order to reckon with his past, Mark goes face-to-face with his 12-year-old self in a breakneck-paced time-traveling comedy show that is tightly choreographed and joyfully vulnerable.

Directed by Joanna Simmons, costumes by Xuan Nguyen.

Winner - Best Comedy, San Diego Fringe 2023
